Classes Available for Study in Ashrayelm Y.1-7 Impetus StudentsImpetus students will have the chance to study Mundane, Artistic, Defense and Offense uses for their particular element, in this case fire. For each year, an individual student has the chance to study a maximum of two classes per year. In the case of offense classes, the student must have studied beginner in year 6 to be eligible to study the class in year 7. Classes are as follows, a list of students per class will follow below. This is the only style allowed to be practiced on the grounds unless under direct teacher supervision. Artistic Classes PracticalArtistic classes are only offered to Impetus, Aether and Orbis students. They focus on creating individual styles in which the student may wield their power to create and ‘artwork’. This subject is for students with an eye for beauty. Offense Classes – Beginner TheoryBeginner Offense classes look at the ways in which an Element can be used in a combat situation. Beginners will learn which Elements theirs is strong against and which theirs is weak against. Offense Classes – Advanced PracticalThe make-up of these classes change frequently. This is to ensure each student learns to pit their own Element against another. Students are paired off and are put through combat situations one by one.
